The skin for Vertical Race
The MONTANA MONTARACE HIGH SPEED made of 100 % MOHAIR is extremely light and has very good climbing properties thanks to the specially developed fabric structure and the special processing technology of MONTANA. The unique capabilities of this climbing skin are based on the findings of all previous climbing skins, which have been continuously developed by MONTANA.
This natural product remains supple even in very cold conditions and offers perfect grip when climbing due to the dense weave. In the sporty target flag design, the MONTARACE HIGH SPEED was developed specifically for racers, but can also be used by dedicated ski tourers and ambitious recreational winter sports enthusiasts.

Skins analysis
Fiber pile + base fabric
- 65% mohair and 35% nylon
- During the weaving process, the skin pile is laid in one direction which allows climbing and gliding
- The skin pile is hydrophobic and remains permanently water repellent
