At Sport Bohny from Freiburg i.Br., service and rental of skis & snowboard have always been a central priority - not surprising, if you are one of the largest sports retailers at the foot of the Black Forest.
"Around 12,000 ski services are carried out by Sport Bohny annually" reveals Managing Director Jochen Bohny in an interview. With their new CRYSTAL MAGIC ski service robot, this number may increase significantly in the future.
An increase in the already high service quality is brought about by the new GRIPtech side edge unit - the revolution in side edge processing. Already at the presentation of the machine and the ground test skis, GRIPtech was a significant plus point that spoke for the purchase of the machine - now the enormously precise, vertical belt grinding of the side edge also provides positive feedback from the customer's point of view.
"As before, an enormous competitive advantage is that we can service the entire range of possible skis and snowboards with MONTANA machines" says Jochen Bohny. Cross-country, carving, freeride or even children's skis are prepared just as quickly as any alpine ski or snowboard.
In addition to the ski service robot, Bohnys' service department uses other products from MONTANA. Among them are the JETBOND S for binding adjustment, as well as SR rental software and storage systems for the rental department.
