Field Sales Representative – Winter Sports, Ski Service & Ski Storage Projects

Headquarters: Stans, NW, Sales Territory: Western Switzerland
Residence: Ideally in the Canton of Valais
Workload: Full-time
Start Date: Immediately or by agreement

About Us

We develop and distribute innovative technical solutions for the winter sports industry. Our product range includes, among other things, comprehensive solutions for professional ski and snowboard service, ski storage facilities, storage systems for rental shops, and ski touring skins.

Our customers include specialty sports retailers, ski service shops, rental shops, mountain railways, architects, and other companies in the winter sports sector. Quality, technical expertise, customer focus, and a passion for winter sports are at the heart of everything we do.

Here are the responsibilities you can expect

As a field sales representative, you will support existing customers, expand your sales territory in a sustainable manner, and guide customer projects from the initial consultation through to a successful close.

You will provide our customers with expert advice on our products and solutions in the areas of ski and snowboard service, ski storage, storage systems for rental shops, and ski touring skins. In doing so, you will combine strong sales skills with technical expertise, a knack for craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for winter sports.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • You will independently and sustainably acquire new customers and continuously expand your personal client portfolio. At the same time, you will support and maintain relationships with existing customers with a high degree of reliability, professional expertise, and a strong commitment to service.
  • You will guide customers from the initial consultation through needs analysis and decision-making to the preparation of quotes, order processing, and the successful completion of a project. In doing so, you will identify customer needs, develop suitable solutions, and effectively promote our products in the market.
  • Preparing quotes and orders independently is just as much a part of your daily routine as maintaining customer data, visit reports, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • An important part of your role is building and expanding your network in the region, as well as actively nurturing long-term customer relationships. For customer projects, you will also provide technical and hands-on support as needed.
  • You will be in regular contact with the technical managers in the region and work closely with them to provide optimal technical support for customer projects and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Occasional weekend assignments—for example, for trade shows, ski tests, events, or customer demonstrations—are also part of this role.

What You Need to Bring

  • You are an experienced sales professional with several years of professional experience in field sales or a comparable sales role. You are passionate about sales, are confident in negotiations, and impress with impeccable manners.
  • Ideally, you live in the canton of Valais or have strong ties to the region. Very good German and French language skills are required. Any additional languages are welcome and considered an asset.
  • Ideally, you are 30+ and have the appropriate professional and life experience for this responsible, independent field sales position.
  • A genuine passion for winter sports is important to us. Excellent skiing skills are desired so that you can credibly represent our products and solutions and present them convincingly in practical settings.
  • In addition, you possess technical understanding and a knack for hands-on work. Experience or an existing network in the winter sports, specialty sports retail, mountain rail, ski service, or rental shop industries is a plus.

We offer

  • You’ll work with innovative technical products, support exciting customer projects, and collaborate directly with the office staff, technical team, and R&D department. You can expect a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy, direct customer contact, and the opportunity to combine your sales skills with your passion for winter sports and technology.
  • You’ll also benefit from attractive employment conditions. These include a company car for personal use, 5 weeks of vacation, and an additional 15 public holidays, since the position is based in the canton of Nidwalden. You’ll receive a fixed salary including a 13th month’s pay, a generous expense policy, and a cell phone & laptop for your field sales work.
  • To ensure a consistent and professional appearance, we provide you with company clothing free of charge. You’ll also receive free promotional materials and giveaways for client visits, trade shows, ski tests, and other sales activities.
  • There’s also plenty of opportunity for personal interaction: Regular company events and partner gatherings give you the chance to maintain your network, exchange ideas with colleagues, and actively experience the company culture.
