The coat for Vertical Race

The MONTANA MONTARACE HIGH SPEED consists of 100% mohair. The special formation of the fabric and the processing technology used by MONTANA provides it with excellent climbing characteristics whilst being extremely durable. These unique capabilities are the result of continuous development on all of MONTANA’s earlier climbing skins. This natural product remains supple even at extremely cold temperatures and the densely woven fabric provides perfect hold when climbing. The MONTARACE HIGH SPEED has a sporty chequered flag design and was specially designed for racers, but is also suitable for resolute skiers and all those who enjoy winter sports who want to take it to the limit. From now on, this racing skin is available either with tried and trusted FUSIONTEC adhesion or the traditional HOTMELT coating.

Fellanalyse

Fiber pile + base fabric

65% mohair and 35% nylon
During the weaving process, the skin pile is laid in one direction which allows climbing and gliding
The skin pile is hydrophobic and remains permanently water repellent

"MONTANA Special" prevents lateral fraying when cutting the climbing skins to size

Waterproof laminate film

The waterproof laminate film is a reliable protective barrier against water ingress. This keeps the climbing skins dry even in wet snow.</p
